Panthera Onca Behind The Scenes

 

Panthera Onca is my latest large scale painting. Panthera Onca is the latin name for one of my favourite animals, the jaguar. The jaguar is the third biggest cat in the world - after the tiger and the lion. They are typically found in tropical rainforests but also live in savannas and grasslands. They live alone, and they’re territorial—they define their area by marking with their waste or clawing trees.
Whilst painting this piece, @NickGrahamPhotos and myself planned to have a photoshoot/videoshoot inspired by the rainforest and jaguars habitat. Below is the content we came up with:
